What are the dates and times?
The 2026 Villa Louis Carriage Classic will take place on September 11, 12, and 13, 2026, with competition running daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
How much is admission?
For 2026, we are excited to welcome you to a new venue, and even better, spectator admission is FREE!
Is there seating and shade provided?
The main arena offers nearby picnic tables, bleacher seating, and folding-chair seating. Spectators are also welcome to bring their own chairs. Bleacher seating is also available near some of the obstacle courses. Some seating areas are covered to provide shade.
Are dogs allowed on the show grounds?
Yes! Well-behaved dogs (good canine citizens) are welcome on the show grounds. We kindly ask that all dogs be kept on a leash and under control at all times.
Please keep in mind that the show environment—with horses, carriages, crowds, and plenty of activity—can be very stimulating for dogs that are not accustomed to it, so please use good judgment when bringing your dog.
For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, show management reserves the right to ask that unruly or disruptive dogs be removed from the show grounds.
Is there food service available?
Yes, meals will be available under the food tent, staffed by Carriage Classic volunteers.
Is the event held rain or shine?
Yes, the Carriage Classic is held rain or shine. In the event of lightning or other unsafe conditions, temporary delays may be implemented for safety.

The 2026 venue is located at: 436 N. Fifth Street, Prairie du Chien, WI 53821, with complimentary parking available.
What are the classes and when are they offered?
